Jin Xin Waterproof Wins Top Honors at 2024 National Construction Waterproofing Industry Vocational Skills Competition Southwest Preliminary Round

On August 27, 2024, the 2024 National Construction Waterproofing Industry (Waterproof Engineer & Physical Property Tester) Vocational Skills Competition Southwest Preliminary Round was hosted in Yizhong. The event was jointly organized by the Sichuan Provincial Association of Construction Waterproofing and guided by the China Association of Building Waterproofing. Attendees included Zhang Kaiqiang, Deputy Director of the Yizhong Economic Development Zone Management Committee; Gu Hua’er, President of the Sichuan Provincial Association of Construction Waterproofing; Li Kai, Secretary-General; Liu Ya, Head of the Industry Department of the China Association of Building Waterproofing; Zhang Jiusi, General Manager of China Building Materials Testing Certification Group Sichuan Co., Ltd.; and over 90 competitors from across the region.

This waterproofing vocational skills competition consists of two sections: theoretical knowledge and practical operation. The practical competition features two categories: 'Waterproof Engineer' and 'Physical Property Tester'. Under the 'Waterproof Engineer' category, there are two sub-events: modified asphalt waterproof membrane and high molecular waterproof membrane. Under the 'Physical Property Tester' category, the sub-events are waterproof membrane and waterproof coating.

Four Jin Xin Waterproof team members demonstrated their expertise on stage, standing out with remarkable skill and confidence.After intense competition, under strict judging and professional selection by the organizing committee, the final results were announced. Jin Xin Waterproof representatives Fu Si and Li Wenping achieved second place in 'Physical Property Tester – Waterproof Coating Team' and third place in 'Waterproof Engineer – Modified Asphalt Waterproof Membrane Team', respectively. Jin Xin Waterproof was also awarded the title of 'Outstanding Organizational Unit'.
