New Green Factory Evaluation Standard for Building Waterproof Materials Industry Included

To leverage standardization as a guiding force and promote green factory evaluation work, the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology recently released a batch of industry green factory evaluation standards. Five new standards have been added to the building materials sector, including the 'Requirements for Green Factory Evaluation in the Building Waterproof Materials Industry.' The standard 'Requirements for Green Factory Evaluation in the Building Waterproof Materials Industry' (JC/T 2700-2022) defines terminology, scope, principles, evaluation requirements, methods and procedures, determination criteria, and evaluation reports. It applies to green factory construction and evaluation by enterprises producing building waterproof materials. This standard was jointly developed by the China Building Waterproofing Association and Beijing National Construction Certification Center Co., Ltd., and is managed under the China Building Materials Federation.

As of now, the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology has issued 82 green factory evaluation standards across 10 industries, including steel, chemical, non-metallic, building materials, light industry, and textiles. Among them, the number of green factory evaluation standards in the building materials industry has grown from 9 to 14, with five new additions: sanitary ware, precast concrete, building waterproof materials, ceramic tiles, and wall panels.
