Recently, the Jinxing Waterproofing Engineering Center has been advancing a premium residential waterproofing project located in the Youhe Xin District of Xinjin, aiming to create Xinjin’s first luxury 'boundaryless forest living' community.Primary design materials include: high molecular wet-laid waterproof membranes, non-bituminous HDPE self-adhesive membrane (pre-applied reverse adhesion), SBS modified asphalt chemicalroot-penetration resistant waterproof membranes, self-adhesive polymer-modified asphalt waterproof membranes, and polymer cement JS waterproof coatings. Specific application details are as follows:

Basement bottom slab:1.5mm high molecularwet-laidwaterproof membrane (Type E) + 1.2mm non-bituminous HDPE self-adhesive membrane (pre-applied reverse adhesion) waterproof membrane

Basement side wall:1.5mm high molecular wet-laid waterproof membrane (Type E) + 1.5mm high molecular wet-laid waterproof membrane (Type E)

Basement roof slab:4mm SBS root-penetration resistant waterproof membrane + 4mm SBS root-penetration resistant waterproof membrane

Roof:1.5mm polymer cement JS waterproof coating (Type I) + 1.5mm non-membrane self-adhesive polymer waterproof membrane (Type I) + 1.5mm non-membrane self-adhesive polymer waterproof membrane (Type I)

Kitchen, bathroom, and balcony:1.5mm polymer cement JS waterproof coating (Type II)

Currently, the project is in progress on basement roof slab, kitchen/bathroom, and roof waterproofing. The first layer of waterproof coating for basement roof slab, kitchen/bathroom, and roof has been completed. Subsequent steps will involve installing the remaining two layers of membrane waterproofing on the roof.

Standardized construction process for basement roof slab:

Base preparation and inspection → Apply primer → Detail treatment or reinforcement layer → Establish membrane laying reference line → Lay 4mm SBS root-penetration resistant waterproof membrane → Lap joint treatment and self-inspection → Lay second 4mm SBS root-penetration resistant waterproof membrane → Edge sealing and lap sealing → Self-inspection → Quality inspection → Approval for handover to next phase

Standardized construction process for kitchen and bathroom:

Base preparation → Detail reinforcement layer treatment → Apply polymer cement JS waterproof coating (Type II) in multiple coats to design thickness → Self-inspection → Finished product protection → Quality inspection

Standardized construction process for roof:

Base preparation → Full-area application of JS-I polymer cement waterproof coating → Self-inspection → Inspection → Slope layer construction → Cement mortar leveling layer construction → Install additional layer membrane → Lay first 1.5mm non-membrane self-adhesive polymer waterproof membrane (Type I) → Edge sealing → Lay second 1.5mm non-membrane self-adhesive polymer waterproof membrane (Type I) → Edge sealing → Self-inspection → Water storage test (minimum 24 hours) → Final inspection
