JX361 water-curing one-component polyurethane waterproof coating  is prepared by reacting special polyether with isocyanate into  prepolymer, mixed with a variety of additives. Free of crosslinking curing agent, it cures into film with water as the  curing agent. It boasts with high strength, high elongation  and superior water-resistance. A tough seamless coating is  formed on the substrate surface, delivering strong  adaptability to substrate deformation.

Product Features

• Contains no toxic substances such as coal tar.

• Easy and safe construction; avoids poor effect caused by uneven mixing of two-component materials.

• Good resistance to acid, alkali, heat, cold and aging.

• Dense, tough and elastic coating film with good integrity.

• Strong adhesion to concrete, wood, glass, metal, rubber and other substrates.

• Can be constructed directly on damp or dry base surfaces.

Construction Process

1. Base surface treatment: The base surface shall be solid, flat, free of standing water, dust and oil stains. Repair and level pits and damaged areas.

2. Additional layer construction: Reinforce weak parts such as internal corners and through-wall pipes. Adopt “one coat with one fabric” or “two coats with three fabrics”. Polyester non-woven fabric is preferred as reinforcement fabric. Apply 1~2 coats first, paste reinforcement fabric immediately, then cover with coating.

3. Large-area application: Scrape or brush evenly with rubber scraper or brush. Design coating thickness: 1.5mm~2.0mm, constructed in 3~4 separate coats. The direction of each subsequent coat shall be perpendicular to the previous one. Each single coat thickness ≤0.5mm. Apply next coat only after the prior coat cures.

4. Reinforcement fabric embedding: When laying fabric between coating layers, the lower coating under fabric ≥1mm, the top coating ≥0.5mm. Ensure fabric is fully saturated by coating without bare white areas or wrinkles.

5. Protective layer construction: Protect finished waterproof layer timely; make cement mortar protective layer.

Notes

• Do not walk on the coating or carry out subsequent construction before full curing.

• No construction on rainy days. Keep away from rain before curing.

• Suitable construction temperature: 5℃~35℃.

• No standing water on damp base for underground works; drain water 24h before construction.

Transportation & Storage

Store different types and specifications separately. Single-component polyurethane coating shall be stored upside down. Keep away from fire sources, avoid sunlight and rain, prevent collision and ensure ventilation. Storage temperature: 5℃~40℃.
