JX3601 Root-Resistant Two-Component Polyurethane Waterproof Coating is a high-performance, eco-friendly two-component waterproof material developed on the basis of conventional polyurethane waterproof coating with specially added chemical root-resisting agent. It inherits the excellent elasticity, adhesion and waterproof performance of polyurethane materials, and is further endowed with the capability to actively resist penetration by plant roots. It is specially designed for scenarios requiring both waterproofing and greening, such as planted roofs, roof gardens, basement roof slabs and plaza greening projects.

Scope of Application

• Planted roofing system: roof gardens, planted lawns, green roofs.

• Underground structure slabs: basement garage slabs, civil air defense slabs, plaza floors and other areas for greening.

Product Features

• Outstanding root penetration resistance.

• Superior sealing and excellent waterproof performance. Liquid-applied to form a seamless monolithic waterproof membrane. It adapts well to substrate shapes, fully covers irregular areas and complex details (pipe roots, drains, internal & external corners) to eliminate leakage risks.

• High elasticity & crack resistance. Elongation of the coating film over 500%. It effectively resists cracking and deformation of substrate caused by temperature difference and settlement, maintaining integrity and durability of the waterproof layer.

Construction Technology

Brushing Method: Apply coating onto substrate or leveling layer with wool or bristle brushes to reach designed thickness. Apply in multiple thin coats.

Transportation & Storage

During transportation and storage, products of different types and specifications shall be stacked separately. Keep containers sealed during storage. Keep away from fire sources, avoid sunlight and rain, prevent collisions, and ensure good ventilation. Storage temperature: 5 to 40°C. Handle with care during loading and unloading; rough handling is prohibited.

JX361 Water-curing One-component Polyurethane Waterproof Coating

JX361 water-curing one-component polyurethane waterproof coating is prepared by reacting special polyether with isocyanate into prepolymer, mixed with a variety of additives. Free of cross-linking curing agent, it cures into film with water as the curing agent. It boasts with high strength, high elongation and superior water-resistance. A tough seamless coating is formed on the substrate surface, delivering strong adaptability to substrate deformation.

Scope of Application

• Suitable for waterproofing works of building basements, cut-and-cover metro tunnels and passages.

• Suitable for kitchens, water tanks, balconies, etc.

• Suitable for building roof waterproofing projects.

• Suitable for detailed additional waterproofing at internal & external corners, pipe roots and other parts.

Product Classification

• Classified into Type Ⅰ, Type Ⅱ and Type Ⅲ based on basic performance.

• Classified into exposed type (E) and non-exposed type (N) according to the exposure condition.

Product Features

• Free from coal tar and other toxic & harmful substances.

• Easy and safe application. Avoid poor performance caused by uneven mixing of two-component materials.

• Excellent resistance to acid, alkali, heat, cold and aging.

• Dense, tough, elastic and flexible coating film.

• High adhesion strength, bonds well with concrete, wood, glass, metal, rubber and other substrates.

• Direct application on both damp and dry substrates.

Construction Process

• Substrate Treatment: The substrate shall be solid, flat, dry, free of standing water, dust and oil stains. Hollows and damages shall be filled and smoothed.

• Reinforcement Layer Construction: Weak areas such as internal/external corners and pipe penetrations shall be reinforced with extra layers. "One fabric two coats" or "Two fabric three coats" is recommended. Polyester non-woven fabric is preferred as the reinforcing mat. Apply 1~2 coats first, then lay the reinforcing mat immediately, and cover with coating.

• Large-area Coating: Apply evenly with a rubber scraper or roller. The total coating thickness shall be 1.5 to 2.0 mm, applied in 3 to 4 passes. The application direction of each pass shall be perpendicular to the previous one. The thickness per coat shall be ≤0.5 mm. The next coat can only be applied after the previous coat is fully cured.

• Reinforcing Mat Laying: When embedding reinforcing mat between coating layers, the coating thickness under the mat shall be ≥1mm, and the top coating ≥0.5mm. Ensure the mat is fully saturated with waterproof coating, no bare spots or wrinkles.

• Protective Layer Construction: Finished waterproof membrane shall be protected timely. Cement mortar shall be applied as protective layer.

Notes

• Do not walk on or carry out subsequent construction before the full curing of coating.

• Construction is forbidden on rainy days. Keep coating away from rainwater before curing.

• Recommended construction temperature: 5~35℃.

• No standing water on damp substrates for underground works. Start construction after water drainage 24 hours.

Transportation & Storage

During transportation and storage, products of different types and specifications ought to be stacked separately. Single-component polyurethane products must be sealed. Keep away from fire sources, avoid expose on sunlight and rain, prevent collision and ensure good ventilation. Storage temperature interval: 5℃~40℃.
