JX360 Moisture-Curing Two-Component Polyurethane Waterproof Coating is a reactive polymer waterproof coating composed of Component A and Component B. Component A is polyurethane prepolymer, and Component B is water-based curing agent. During application, mix Component A and Component B in specified ratio, stir evenly and apply onto substrate. It cures by chemical reaction to form a continuous, flexible, seamless rubber-like waterproof layer.

Product Features

• Excellent physical and mechanical properties: Good rubber elasticity and resilience, high tensile strength, strong resistance to substrate deformation.

• Excellent adhesion: Bonds to various substrates, can be directly applied on qualified substrates with adhesion strength above 1.0 MPa.

• No special requirements on substrate moisture content: Water curing mechanism, construction allowed on substrate without standing water.

• Good workability: Ready for application after mixing two components in specified ratio, capable of thick coating. 2~3 passes can achieve 2mm thickness; dense film free of pinholes and bubbles.

• Outstanding low-temperature performance: Bending in the temperature -35℃ no cracking occurs, suitable for waterproof projects in low-temperature environments.

• Environment-friendly: No coal tar, free of toxic solvents such as benzene, toluene and xylene.

Construction Technology

• Substrate Treatment: Clear away surface dust, mortar, grout, hard lumps and other debris. Ensure roof rainwater outlets, vent holes, equipment and joints are tight and flat.

• Batching: Mixing ratio: Proportion by weight according to product model. The two-component polyurethane coating is reaction-curing type. Strict batching and accurate metering are required, and the deviation after mixing Component A and Component B shall not exceed 5%. Weigh accurately and pour into mixing bucket, stir thoroughly with an electric mixer for 3-5 minutes. Each batch shall be used up within 20-30 minutes.

• Additional-Layer Construction: Reinforce vulnerable parts such as internal-external corners and pipe penetrations through walls with additional layers. Adopt "one-fabric-two-coat" or "two-fabric-three-coat" structure. Polyester non-woven fabric is the preferred reinforcing carrier. Apply one or two coats of coating first, lay the reinforcing fabric immediately, then fully cover the fabric surface with additional coating.

• Large-Area Coating: Large-area waterproofing can only begin after additional layers at detail joints are fully dried. For horizontal surfaces, pour mixed coating evenly onto the substrate and spread by scraping. For vertical surfaces, scrape from bottom to top. For a 1.5-2.0 mm waterproof membrane, apply 2-3 scraper coats. Overlap width of construction joints: no less than 150 mm. Apply each coat perpendicular to the previous one.

• Laying Reinforcing Fabric: When embedding reinforcing fabric between coating layers, the coating thickness beneath the fabric shall be no less than 1mm, and the top coat thickness shall be at least 0.5mm. Ensure the fabric is fully saturated by waterproof coating; no bare fabric spots or wrinkles are allowed.

• Protective-Layer Construction: Take timely protective measures for finished waterproof coating layers. Install cement-mortar protective layer.

Notes

• Construction is prohibited on rainy, snowy days or when wind force is Grade 5 or above. Do not construct when ambient temperature is below 5℃ or above 35℃.

• Good ventilation shall be maintained at construction site. For enclosed spaces, ventilation equipment must be in the operation process.

• Smoking and open flames are strictly forbidden. Fire fighting equipment shall be provided as required.

• Mix and use coating on site immediately after opening. Do not store mixed coating for more than 40 minutes. Stir thoroughly if slight sediment appears.

Transportation & Storage

During transportation and storage, products of different types and specifications ought to be stacked separately. Keep away from fire sources, avoid direct sunlight and rain, prevent collision and maintain ventilation. Storage temperature: 5℃～40℃.
